When I got married my Mother In Law was so depressed that she was losing her daughter. It had just been the two of them for almost 20 years perhaps. Then she discovered she could watch what she wanted, eat what she wanted and do all these things without having to consider what another person liked. Ever since that day I have threatened her that if she wasn’t nice to me that I would give her back to her. She’s been very nice to me. 🙂

I can really relate to this. My youngest just flew the nest next week to complete her master’s degree. The house was so quiet the day after she left!
