    • Here is my update on my one word challenge: Outreach. So much has happened since I took your challenge, Lisa! I eventually realized that the need for a change in the healthcare system in regards to our precious children with chronic illnesses and their families. It became a mission for me to not only get the word out, but start a nonprofit to make more of an impact. My organization, Making Change For Children was born on May 18, 2015. We are waiting for our 501(c) to launch. We hope that it will be a month that is dedicated to a chronic disease and have a huge fundraiser.
      Also, I am being considered for an advocate position for the Lucille Packard Foundation and CCS to give my input on the changes that I see necessary for the new model of a children’s care facility that is being built in Central California. Thank you Lisa for helping find this direction. I know that I am exactly where I belong and doing what I am meant to be doing. And I thank all of my followers for their encouragement.
