This morning I started putting my Twitter account to use. I haven’t used it in so long. I began following some organizations and people that I do not have on Facebook or others sites. I tweeted them to tell them about my blog and my interest in reaching out. Some I told what my focus was on and others I didn’t.
It was also time for me to change my Twitter site to portray what I am doing and who I am today. I think that I will try to do the same with Pinterest because I do involve myself with the different photo challenges here on WordPress, My 30 day plan for my Twitter account are:
1. Change my buttons for them so they are more visible
2. I will check it twice a day.
3. Tweet on a regular basis
4. Continue to search for other like-minded organizations and individuals
5. Continue increasing my visibility on Facebook
6. Share at least two posts from others per week
7. Share interesting things that are not directly related to my blog
8. Ask questions or take a poll from time to time to see what the followers are interested in
9. Add personal things about what is going on in my life to allow the followers to know me better
10. Make a list of some links that wouldn’t put up here but would be for my Twitter account.
11. Share a photo at least once a week.
12. Publicize my blogs
13. Participate in three to four discussion per day
14. Check my stats to see if it is improving
There’s what I can think of now. This has been such a rewarding experience. I am learning so much. Thank you for having this available to us.
Hey not that you need another social network but have you thought of Pinterest? It’s a great platform for sharing about your organizations and spreading the word.

I have been thinking about it, but I use posters and words mostly. Would that work in that forum?

Twitter takes some time to get used to, but once you pass a certain threshold it snowballs.

I think I am doing much better on Twitter than Facebook. Still getting the hang of things. Thanks for the tip. 😊

I am doing pretty good so far. I am even thinking of starting a nonprofit org. Thinking of a name and mission statement. Thank you for your encouragement.

Thank you for responding Patty. Your idea of non-profit will be great. Every great thing begins with an idea; and then flesh is given to it. My advice is when you conceive an idea and know it is good, go ahead and do it. Don’t wait because discouraging messages and distractions may come in; and before long you find yourself lining up a list of reasons why you should not try it at all. So please, go ahead and do it. If there is anything I can do to help, I am willing. What would this non-profit be focusing on? It can be exciting being helpful.

You are the first person who has given me any positive feedback. I needed that. It is in honor of my son. He died at 30 years old after a lifetime of chronic illnesses. The medical system needs to be fixed so that the children and their families do not have to go through so many difficulties: misdiagnoses, mistreatment, etc. If it was so hard for me, I can imagine how difficult it would be for someone without any medical background. I feel strongly that the Lord has put this on my heart. ❤️

It’s exciting! May the soul of your son rest in perfect peace! I know what it means when the Lord is calling you to do something for him. When He does we have only one choice:to say ‘yes’. Take note: God does not like ‘no’ for an answer. He does not call you when he has not equipped you to do what he is calling you to do. Therefore I say go out with confidence and faith. Give no ear to any discouraging messages. Know that you have an all in me even if I am thousands of kilometers away from you. I will always give you my encouragement and support. Great things sometimes have very humble beginnings.
