WHAT TIME IS IT?

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “First Light.”

I am not in the habit of having a notebook at the ready on my night stand every night.  There was a time that I tried that, but with little results.  But, if I were to think back today about what I first thought while rubbing my eyes and stretching to the sun peeking through my window, I would have to say that I was wondering what time it was.  There are some days that I do sleep to long and I am miserable for the rest of the day.  There isn’t time to get all that I want to do done.  Remember that I am retired and never turn on the alarm clock unless I have an appointment.  Luckily I awoke at 9:15 a.m.  There will be plenty of time to play with my birds, my favorite time of the day, do my laundry and pick up my meds from the pharmacy.  Of course, I will write and try to catch up on some of the challenges for the week that I really love doing.  I will be continuing on my Blogging 201 assignments. I think that my Twitter  account is looking pretty good so I will be working on my Tumblr site.  That is one that confuses me.  They are all necessary because that is where most of my non profits and health related sites are following me.  Hopefully the support team will be able to get my posts to import to my new site ‘Strawberries Forever.’

That is enough.  There is so much more, but that will come later.  Now you see why the first thing I thought about this morning was what the time was.  Now I’m off and running.
